KATJA ADOLF I majored in graphic design 1996 at Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles | 93-96 studies BFA bachelor fine arts graphic design, art center college of design Europe [Montreux, Switzerland] art center college of design USA [Pasadena, Los Angeles, USA] I took a lot of classes in fine arts, painting, and photography teached by well-known california and european artists, typography classes teached by doyald young, a specialist in designing logotypes, corporate alphabets and typefaces. I-concentrated on combining art and graphic design. during this time I met one of my earliest and most important influences: mr. georg washington gaw. A man who redesigned the logotypeface of coca cola and the wellknow typeface of IBM. That experience has always stayed with me. When I came back to germany I started my business experience as an art-director for rempen & partner in düsseldorf 1997. These years gave me a good working impression in the field of advertisement, to work with bigger clients and with an enormous diversity of people. Beside this job I worked for my first client: the aalto-theater in essen. According to the fact of an tremendous amount of pressure to produce creative work for both companies I decided to open my own business.
